Eco-island Aug 27 2008

Samso, a Danish island in the North Sea, has 4,300 inhabitants. 100% of the island’s electricity comes from wind power and 75% of its heat is from solar power and biomass energy. Al Jazeera’s correspondent Barbara Serra reports from a community that is using innovative ways to keep its energy costs down.
