Obama visits Afghanistan

Barack Obama, the White House hopeful, has visited Afghanistan to meet Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president.
Obama has stated that Afghanistan is a vital front in the so-called “war on terror” and that it is “often overshadowed by the US mission in Iraq”. If elected as US president, he plans to redirect troops to the country.
Al Jazeera’s James Bays reports.
