U.S. primaries: millions spent on dud system
Senator Hillary Clinton has won both of Tuesday’s major primaries - in Ohio and Texas. She’d earlier claimed the smaller prize of Rhode Island, while her competitor for the Democratic nomination, Barack Obama, won Vermont, the other smaller state to vote.
